The Winners of the 74th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards
The 74th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards have just concluded, and while there were a few minor surprises here and there, the big winners were pretty much as expected.
In Drama, the acting awards were spread out all over the place, but as most predicted, "Succession" took Outstanding Drama Series, along with Writing and Supporting Actor, bringing its total wins to four with its Creative Arts win for Drama Casting.
Over in Comedy, "Abbott Elementary" seemed like it was poised to pull an upset after winning Comedy Casting, Supporting Actress, and Writing, but it was "Ted Lasso" that once again claimed the top award (along with Directing, Lead Actor, and Supporting Actor) for a total of four wins.
Finally, in Limited Series, "The White Lotus" cleaned up, winning another five awards, including Outstanding Limited Series, Writing, Directing, Supporting Actor, and Supporting Actress, bringing its total up to a whopping ten awards.
