Nominations for the 2024 Washington D.C. Area Film Critics Awards

The Washington D.C. Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA), of which I'm a proud member, has announced their nominees for their 2024 awards honoring the best in film. "The Brutalist" leads the way with ten nominations, followed by "Conclave" with nine and "Wicked" with eight. "Anora" (seven nods) and "Sing Sing" (five nods) round out the Best Feature nominees. Also receiving a lot of attention was "Dune: Part Two," which received seven nods, though it didn't make it into the top category. Winners will be revealed tomorrow at 3.
