New York Film Critics Circle Names The Brutalist Best Film of 2024

Awards season officially kicked off today with the New York Film Critics Circle (NYFCC) naming their best of 2024, with Brady Corbet's epic "The Brutalist" taking the top prize. The film also received Best Actor for Adrian Brody. "Nickel Boys" was the only other film to receive more than one award, winning Best Director and Best Cinematography.

BEST SCREENPLAY: Sean Baker, Anora

BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY: Jomo Fray, Nickel Boys

BEST ANIMATED FILM: Flow

BEST NON-FICTION FILM: No Other Land

BEST INTERNATIONAL FILM: All We Imagine as Light
