Boston Honors Drive My Car; NYFCO and Philadelphia Praise Power of the Dog


Three more critics groups have named their best of the year, with the Boston Society of Film Critics showing a lot of love for Ryūsuke Hamaguchi's "Drive My Car" by giving it four awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Hidetoshi Nishijima), and Best Screenplay. Meanwhile, the New York Film Critics Online and the Philadelphia Film Critics Circle have awarded Jane Campion's "The Power of the Dog" their top prizes. Both groups also gave it Best Director, Best Actor (Benedict Cumberbatch), Best Supporting Actor (Kodi Smit-McPhee), and Best Screenplay, among other awards.
