First Thrilling Trailer for Avengers: Infinity War Drops

It seems like we've been waiting forever for the first trailer for "Avengers: Infinity War" (well, at least for an official, non-bootlegged version), but at long last, Disney/Marvel Studios has finally delivered an epic, action-packed look at the film that is sure to have fans sitting on the edges of their seats.

The film, which deals with our heroes banding together and attempting to stop the evil Thanos from collecting the Infinity Stones, will once again reunite all your favorites, including Iron Man, Thor, Spider-Man, Captain America, Doctor Strange, Black Widow, Hulk, and more. Granted, this will be the first in this particular Marvel franchise that doesn't involve the great Joss Whedon juggling all of the characters, but after what directors Joe and Anthony Russo and screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely showed us with the incredible "Captain America: Civil War," there seems little doubt that they're all up to the task of taking over such a character-rich series (and that's not to mention that they really know how to make a film that's flat-out entertaining).

Luckily, we don't have too much longer to wait as the film is a mere five months away from release, but even before that, there's still the "Black Panther" film coming out in February, so really, you only have about two and a half months until you can get your next superhero fix (and after the colossal failure of "Justice League," I'm sure many fans need one). Simply put, this looks like it's going to be pretty damn good.

"Avengers: Infinity War" hits theaters on May 4th, 2018.
