The Walking Dead: Season Seven Comes to Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD August 22nd

Lionsgate and Anchor Bay Entertainment have just announced the full details for the upcoming Blu-ray release of the seventh season of AMC's hit show "The Walking Dead." While it's hardly been a secret that this last season struggled a lot to deliver satisfying material to fans (with viewership declining quite a bit from previous seasons), many of them still stuck around to see how the group's battle with Negan would conclude (at least for now). Now the fans that enjoyed this past season of the popular program have only about three more weeks to wait before they can bring it home.

The August 22nd release date for Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD had already been previously announced, but now we finally have a complete list of the special features that will come with it:

· “The Making of The Walking Dead” Featurette

· “The Writers of The Walking Dead” Featurette

From the looks of it, it's pretty much what we've come to expect from the previous releases, including commentaries, deleted sequences, and several featurettes that go behind the scenes of the making of the show. Even when certain seasons haven't been up to snuff, the bonus features have usually been rather interesting, providing some intriguing insight into how an episode of the series is put together, so it looks like we can look forward to similar material on this latest release.

That release date again is August 22nd for Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD, so if you're one of the show's die-hard fans, be sure to take note.
