International Trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Presents Some New Footage

Just a few days ago, we got the second full-length trailer for Gareth Edwards' upcoming "Star Wars" spinoff entitled "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," but hot on its heals comes a new international trailer that gives us a little bit of new footage and a few new snippets of dialogue. It may not be very much, but we do get a small indication of just how important one of the yet unseen characters is going to be.

As you're probably well aware of by now, the film will deal with the Rebels' mission to steal the plans for the Empire's ultimate weapon, The Death Star, a mission which is only mentioned in brief in "A New Hope." It's a part of the story that fans have always wondered about, making it the perfect subject for a film. Sure, we already know that the mission is successful, but what we don't know is how the entire adventure went down, and that's exactly why it should be an exciting tale to tell.

Hopefully the wait will have been worth it when "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" finally arrives in theaters on December 16th, 2016.

Do you think the film will be able to live up to the beloved "Star Wars" legacy? Check out the new trailer above and let us know what you think in the comments below.
