Get Ready for Suicide Squad with This New Extended TV Spot

Just in case you've been living under a rock for the past year, or just weren't pumped quite enough for the release of "Suicide Squad" this Friday, Warner Bros. has unveiled yet another TV spot for the film, showcasing little bits of new footage sprinkled throughout.

The film follows the misadventures of a group of villains, including Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Deadshot (Will Smith), and Diablo (Jay Hernandez), who are thrown together to fight an even bigger threat. Under the command of Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman), they must square off against ancient and powerful beings who are trying to take over the world, showing that even the bad guys can do some good every once in a while.

The previously unseen footage contained in the minute-long ad is mainly little character moments showing us their zany natures (especially Harley Quinn's), thrown in with enough adrenaline-fueled action to make your yearning for the film even greater. With all of the trailers and TV spots we've gotten over the past few months, it's rather amazing that there hasn't been that much spoiled about the film leading up to its big release, so hats off to the amazing marketing team behind the film. With its release this Friday, there's not much left to do but count down the last few days, so in the meantime, enjoy the new spot.

Personally, it looks like it'll be an absolute blast. It feels like we've been waiting for this film for forever, but luckily it's nearly here. I'm seeing the film tomorrow night, so be sure to check back on Thursday morning for my full review to see if the film was able to live up to the lofty expectations that were set during the never-ending wait.
